John reaches career high #20 ATP World Tour ranking
John continues his strong showing in the 2010 season. Thanks to his outstanding record of 12-3 this year, he has now moved up to #20 in the ATP World Tour Rankings. With this ranking, John is the 2nd highest ranked American on tour behind Andy Roddick.
Within the past few months John has won his 1st ATP Singles titles in Auckland, and has appeared in the singles finals in Memphis, while scoring wins over top ranked opponents such as Gael Monfils (FRA).
The young American will now head to Belgrade to represent the US in Davis Cup action this weekend. Team USA will be composed of the top ranked doubles team of Bob and Mike Bryan, world #22 Sam Querrey and John Isner.
